Upgrade Your LinkedIn Product Pages with Lead Gen

Today LinkedIn announced that every Product Page on LinkedIn now has access to Lead Generation Forms.

(Note: This feature is gradually rolling out and may not be available on your account at this time)

Lead Generation Forms are one-click form submission experiences that allow prospective customers to convert 5x higher than traditional landing page forms and best of all it’s a FREE feature.

Lead Gen Forms allows select admins to collect quality leads by giving members who visit your Product Page the option to open and submit a pre-filled form with their information. Lead Gen Forms significantly reduce members’ effort to submit requested details.

As this new feature rolls out, now is the time to start thinking of which products you’d like to feature to best optimize your leads!

Say it with (Social Media) Stories

Telling your brand’s story on Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn just got easier thanks to social media stories. Are you currently utilizing stories in your social media strategy? Where do you tell your brand’s “stories”? The data shared here may blow your mind.

If you are new to stories check out my blog post, The Ultimate Beginner’s Guide to Instagram Stories before you continue. Great, now that we are all caught up…

Stories on Snapchat and Instagram are commonly used, but what about Facebook and LinkedIn? Facebook and now LinkedIn stories (still in beta) are still foreign territory for some as they were the last to adopt the feature, but if you aren’t utilizing them you may be missing out and here’s why.

  • 70% of consumers surveyed by Hubspot said they prefer to watch stories on Facebook. Only 17% said Instagram and another 13% responded with Snapchat

  • Facebook Stories surpassed 500 million daily active users in 2018, just a few months after Instagram reached the same milestone

  • Facebook is still the most used social media channel with 1.59 BILLION daily users vs. Instagram’s 500 million

While this blog post may be leaning towards the wonders of Facebook stories, the glory of social media is that you don’t have to choose just one platform! Since Facebook owns Instagram, the story features can be connected among the two, utilizing the same content. Use both and truly benefit.

LinkedIn Events - Planning a Professional Event Made Easy

Getting the word out on your upcoming event just got easier thanks to LinkedIn’s new feature LinkedIn Events. We are just a few days into the launch in English speaking countries, but are already loving some of the features.

LinkedIn Events gives users the ability to create, manage and join professional gatherings. Users can invite connections, have conversations with other attendees and stay connected after the event wraps up. LinkedIn Events can be private, can include event update notifications, and offer my favorite feature: the ability to search and filter connections in order to invite the right attendees.

In the pilot program, members noted a boost in attendance and awareness of the event, in addition to 2nd tier connections joining the event.

As a member of LinkedIn, you’ll also be able to search for events you wish to attend.

According to LinkedIn’s data, the chances of people accepting connection requests on LinkedIn increase 2X if they have attended a face-to-face meeting. LinkedIn Events are a great way to nurture relationships in the real world!
